Visiting Jess’s town in Long Island.. I have to say that I’m looking forward to that greatly because I do miss the small town. There is something endless about the city but I have a special place in my heart for small towns! Speaking of which, I miss campus and the University of Illinois {my hometown}.
Jess specified that we would be going to Applebee’s for dinner since it’s a tradition amongst her group of friends. It should be a good time :D
Second on my list would be the Fusion Fashion show 2009. For those who are unaware of this legendary event that takes place at Parsons building in the fashion district, this show features young designers that are currently in attendence at Parsons or Fashion Institute of Technology. Basically, it’s a showdown between the two schools in the course of two days. On the second day, there is a judging that takes place- one designer from each school is chosen as a winner and one school is chosen as an overall winner of the Parsons vs. FIT.
This should be interesting…I’m also attending the event with two of my friends, Erica and Charrel. We harmoniously agreed to dress up and go out for a night on the town before the show. It’s all dresses and stilettos, baby!
